Il existe une autre version composée en 2000 : Crouching Tiger Concerto, pour violoncelle et orchestre.

Œuvre basée sur la bande originale du film Tigre et Dragon ([Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon]), réalisé par Ang Lee. Les six mouvements du concerto sont accompagnés d'images vidéos créées par Ang Lee et James Schamus.
