Compositrice, artiste sonore et performatrice ukrainienne née en 1986 à Donetsk.

Anna Korsun est diplomée de l’Académie nationale de musique Piotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky de Kiev et de l’Université de la musique et des arts de la scène de Munich, où elle étudie sous la direction de Moritz Eggert. Elle se produit également en tant que vocaliste, pianiste, organiste et cheffe d’orchestre.
Elle participe actuellement au projet Music for Vilnius, aux côtés de Michael Gordon, Agata Zubel, Toshio Hosokawa, Heiner Goebbels et Ivan Fedele. Tous ces compositeurs sont invités à créer des pièces uniques qui seront jouées dans sept endroits de Vilnius pendant la célébration du 700ème anniversaire de la fondation de la ville.
Sa musique est interprétée par des ensembles à la renommée internationale comme Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, le SWR Vokalensemble, l’ensemble Mosaik, Ascolta, AskoSchoenberg, Looptail, la Camera Silesia, l’ensemble ProArte, le VocalLab, l’Ensemble Oktopus, ou l’Ensemble Nostri Temporis.
Ses oeuvres sont données lors de concerts et de festivals tels que Eclat, Der Sommer in Stuttgart, Darmstadt, ISCM 2014, Musikfest der MGNM, Lange Nacht der Musik, Junge Solisten, Sound Walk / Sound Garden 2012, Journées de la musique ukrainienne en Pologne, Premiers of Seasons, Kievmusikfest, Youth Forum, Gogolfest, Tax Free ou Exposition XXI.
Son travail explore la voix humaine et les instruments traditionnels en relation avec des moyens électroniques. Elle incorpore des éléments de théâtre, de vidéo et de chorégraphie dans ses œuvres. Combinant composition musicale, installation, performance et art sonore, elle intègre parfois à ses pièces des interprètes amateurs ou non-musiciens ainsi que des objets extra-musicaux.
Depuis 2018, elle enseigne au Conservatoire d’Amsterdam et donne des master classes internationales.
Elle vit à Berlin.
