Observations

À la demande d'Alexander Gaouk, Chostakovitch modifia légèrement l'orchestration et ajouta un wood-block et un saxophone lorsque l'œuvre fut insérée en tant qu'entracte dans le ballet L'Âge d'or op. 22.
